How do I install non-English language fonts?

Note: If you are using Windows XP and are unable to view text and/or characters for non-English pages, go to How do I download and install non-English language fonts for Windows XP?

To install non-English language fonts, perform the following steps:

Note: In the following step, we will be using WinZip to extract the font files to a folder. To obtain a free evaluation copy of WinZip, go to the WinZip - Download Evaluation page.

1. Right-click the downloaded font file, and then click Extract to here.

2. Double-click the extracted font folder.

3. From the Edit menu, click Select All.

4. From the Edit menu, click Copy.

5. From the Start menu, select Settings, and then click Control Panel.

6. From the Control Panel window, double-click Fonts.

7. Within the Fonts window, from the Edit menu, click Paste.

Note: The new font is installed.
