Learn the difference between RCWs and WACs

The Revised Code of Washington (RCW) is the collection of state statutes, enacted by the Legislature, that are currently in effect.

The Washington Administrative Code (WAC) is the collection of administrative rules adopted by the executive branch agencies to carry out the duties given to them in state law by the Legislature.
